Michelle C. H. Wyatt, also known as Michelle C. Henderson Wyatt, gave birth to her first child, Reverend Camille Henderson-Edwards, in 1993 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. She has spoken openly about her experiences with the medical system and the challenges she faced as an African American woman with maternal health care in Delaware

Wyatt is a retired educator, having spent her career teaching in the state of Delaware. She is also a tutor, writer and has authored works reflecting on life experiences, including Prayers, Poetry and Prose: A Reflection of Life, which captures her personal reflections and creative expression. Some of her earlies lesson plans include lessons for the University of Delaware about black westward expansion and she co-authored a unit about designer babies.
